Drone Flight Logbook - Coming Soon!!
Keeping accurate flight records is an important part of responsible drone operation. Whether you are flying recreationally, for training, or for professional work, maintaining a clear and organised log of your flights helps you track your experience, monitor equipment usage, and review your operations over time. The Drone Flight Logbook System has been designed to make recording and managing your drone flights simple, efficient, and accessible from anywhere.
The system allows you to record detailed information about each flight, creating a comprehensive record of your flying activity. For every flight, you can log important details such as the date, location, flight duration, weather conditions, and operational notes. This helps pilots build a complete history of their flights while also providing valuable information for reviewing performance, identifying patterns, and improving overall flight safety.
In addition to written records, the flight logbook allows you to attach images to individual flight entries. This feature enables you to document important details visually, whether that is site conditions, equipment setup, or observations made during the flight. Having these images stored alongside the flight record provides additional context and helps create a more complete record of each operation.
The system also makes it easy to access and manage your recorded data. When reviewing your flight history, logs can be exported as either a CSV file or a PDF document. Exporting your logs allows you to keep external backups, analyse your flight data, or share your records when required. Any images attached to your flights can also be downloaded directly, ensuring you always retain full access to your media and records.
Alongside the flight logging functionality, users also gain access to additional features within the Drone Finder platform. Once your account is created and you log in for the first time, you can create and manage your personal profile. From there, you can add all of your aircraft to the My Hangar section of the website. This allows you to keep a centralised record of the drones you own and operate.
Each drone added to your hangar is assigned a unique identification number. To support this system, a QR code sticker displaying the drone’s ID is sent to you, which can be attached to your aircraft. This identification system helps protect your drone in the event that it becomes lost.
If a drone is ever lost, you can mark it as lost directly within your Hangar. Once marked, the drone will appear in the Lost Drones section of the website, helping make the community aware that the aircraft is missing. If someone finds your drone, they can simply scan the QR code on the sticker, which will direct them to a page where they can enter their contact details along with the drone’s ID number. Once submitted, you will receive a notification containing the finder’s contact information, allowing you to arrange the safe return of your drone.
Each drone registered in the system includes one ID sticker, which is sent out after registration. If you require additional stickers for the same drone, extra stickers can be ordered separately.
The Drone Flight Logbook System provides more than just a place to record flights. It combines flight tracking, drone management, and recovery support into one simple platform. By keeping all of your flight information, aircraft details, and identification records in one place, the system helps drone pilots stay organised, maintain better records, and protect their equipment.
Whether you are logging flights for personal reference or maintaining detailed operational records, the Drone Flight Logbook System offers a reliable and practical solution for managing your drone activities.
